Zimbabwe is a nation in crisis. Over recent years it has been affected by HIV/AIDS, experienced economic collapse and drought and is currently in political turmoil. The need is great.
- Around 600,000 are homeless
- 83% live on less than $2 a day
- Life expectancy has dropped from 60 years in 1990 to now just 34 and the lowest in the world
- Inflation is at 11.2 million% (this is not a typo!)
- 1.3 Million people are living with HIV/AIDS
- There are shortages of food, water, fuel, and power
- Current political instability
The Make a Plan project cannot solve Zimbabwe’s problems, but we CAN make a real difference in the lives of many individuals. See how you can help here.
